Model for technology transfer to producers’ cellars. Adjusted to Enological Technology Transfer in the South African Wine Industry

It is unknown whether local producers’ cellars are aware of the latest technology or utilise it effectively in order to remain globally competitive. In order to clarify this uncertainty, it is essential to identify the availability of the mentioned technology and also identify different technology transfer methods in order to recommend the most suitable technology transfer method(s) to narrow the gaps between available and unavailable technology in comparison with the demand for it at the different levels of the human resources of those cellars.
A gap analysis need to be done between the demand for technology by producers’ cellars and the supply of technology by providers in order to secure that the optimal methods of technology transfer is implemented.
