Project title
Management of herbicide-resistant weeds in vineyards
Project leader
Cairns, A L P
Institution
University of Stellenbosch
Project description
The presence of glyphosate and paraquat-resistant weeds in vineyards and orchards is the problem. The ultimate aim of the project is to provide management solutions for the control and eventual elimination of these weeds. By the end of the first year of the project we hope to have put into place cost effective management plans for all resistant populations of weeds that have been identified.
